Introduction

Welcome to our February Recap where we will be giving you an idea of what has been going on at Inspire Films over the last month. We will be covering what has been going on internally within the company as well as what client work we have been working on this month. Feel free to read along on this page or alternatively, watch the video below:

What's been happening internally?

In last month's recap we mentioned that we were planning on upgrading some of our film making equipment in order to produce the best possible content for our client's and I am pleased to announce that all of this new gear has been purchased and is already being put to great use on some exciting projects we are working on! We've invested in a new camera, a couple of new lenses, new audio setup, new gimbal and a few other bits too!

We have also set up a new
referral program this month. Due to a lot of our work coming through referrals from previous clients, we wanted to put something in place where people would be rewarded for this as a token of our appreciation. To learn more about this you can click here.

There’s also a lot of work gone into improving our systems and processes this month so we can be more efficient as a company. We have migrated over to some new software where all of our client management can take place and everything from briefs to invoices are all on one platform and can be accessed really easily by myself or other members of the team. This helps us manage more projects at one time and also do so more effectively!

Our Latest Client Work

Probably the most exciting project that got signed off this month was the one I couldn’t really talk about in last month’s recap, which was the video we shot for Tequila Rose. We spent a full day in London with River Medway and some of the team from Democracy PR asking people how they pronounce Tequila Rose to demonstrate the point that it is Tequila Rose not Rosé. This was such a fun project to work on and you can watch it here.

Another really fun project we shot this month was for Kids Planet which documented their CEO, Clare spending the day as an apprentice, in honour of National Apprenticeship Week. We had a really fun day shooting, and I will also add, that Clare genuinely spent the whole day as an apprentice, it wasn’t just for the video, she actually did it. We had a very tight deadline for this project as it needed to be uploaded within 24 hours of filming! Luckily, I like a challenge and got to work editing the project all evening and into the early hours of the morning, and we successfully got the video signed off and uploaded within 24 hours of the shoot! You can watch that video here.

On the same day we also had one of our photographers, Jac, shooting a strategy day event for Adelphi Research in Manchester. The images turned out great and are going to be used on their LinkedIn and website.

We are currently in the pre-production phase of some really exciting new projects which are going to be filmed in March and can't wait to share them with you all when they are finished!
